Ava's First Breakfast

Ava enjoyed her first solid (well sort of solid) food this morning! Rice Cereal - I can't believe it - she is growing up! Anyone know how to stop time?

As Ava approaches 5 months she is more and more photogenic by the minute - and quite a ham for the camera!

Ava is eager for more and more stimulation and new ways to show off her developing skills. Check her out in the exersaucer! She absolutely loves this thing and she is finally able to entertain herself at least for a little while!

Ava's Christening - August 1

Ava was christened on August 1 with almost all of our friends and family present. She looked like an angel and was such a good girl. I'm not sure Mike and I have ever been so happy. We celebrated at Mike's new restaurant Satis Bistro in Jersey City... soon to be open to the public! I feel so blessed, having everything I have ever dreamed of right here.

Ava's visit with Zach and Evan

Ava had a pool party play date today with her friends Zachary Schwarz and Evan Stewart. She was very exited to see the boys and got all dolled up in her "tankini". It was really hot out so she got to dip her toes in the pool! She also had some serious blanket playtime with the boys. They were not sure what to do about her agressiveness!

Ava and the Bumbo

We put Ava in the Bumbo and she went nuts she loved it. Laughing and talking up a storm! I can't believe at 3 months she can sit up and talk to us like this... it just so much fun. Our faces hurt when we were done from laughing and smiling with her so much!

July 4th

First Trip to the Beach!

Today was our first trip to the beach with Ava. We went down to Lavalette to visit Jen and Frank and see their new home. It was perfect! Ava loved the beach and especially the breeze.
Jenny was making Ava laugh out loud!

12 Weeks

Ava had another play date with Brodie! This time he came over our house!

Ava is officially too big for both sinks now and has graduated to the tub! She still loves every minute of her bathtime with Daddy.....

She is also big enough for the Bjorn carrier now... we took a walk to Torico's for icecream with Grandma

The facial expressions now are beyond cute - This is Ava watching squirrels in Hamilton Park with Grandma!

Daddy's allstar

Ava attends Daddy's softball games on Wednesday and Friday nights! She even has her own Jersey.. Ava #5... both times we were there Daddy hit a home run!

Ava's visit with Zachary and George

We had our first visit with Zachary Schwarz and George Pesant last week! George being the older man of course and Zach at only 2 weeks! Andrea is doing and looking great and the babies (and moms) look forward to a summer of fun together!

Ava's 2 month check-up

I just had to include Ava's war wounds....she got 2 shots at the Doctor's office and was such a big girl! It was a bit tough but she woke up in the morning as good as new and very refreshed after sleeping it off!

The Christs came to visit!

Saturday, on Ava's 2 month anniversary, Carrie, George, Elana and Ilyssa came to visit. We had a cook out in Liberty State park. The rain held out but it was windy! The girls had a great time playing on the equipment - as Ava napped on George. Lots to celebrate as Carrie is expecting another little one!
