Ava 7 weeks

Ava is starting to follow toys and is definitly more aware of her surroundings than ever. During tummy time she can scoot herself across her activity mat. I know, its hard to believe at 7 weeks but you have to see it to believe it! She is also smiling a lot.... not sure if she knows that's what she's doing but she is definitly smiling. Her favorite toys are Mr. Piggy and Mr. Moo moo....

A walk with Grandma

First Mother's Day!

Ava got all dolled up to go see abuela and grandma on our first Mother's Day. It was also Great Grandpa Thomason's 97th Birthday!

First Bath

A bit out of history order... but I wanted to record Ava's first bath time. It was at 5 weeks because it took THAT long for her umbilical cord stump to fall off! Ava absolutely LOVES bath time with Daddy.

Ava 6 weeks

Ava and I attended Jen Monahan's bridal shower last Saturday! It was her first party. She was such a good girl. She's a ham for the camera!

Ava's first photo shoot

On April 17 Ava had her first photo shoot at just 2 weeks old! Meridith Desmond did the shoot and here is her website blog so you can view the photos! Kristen took a few shots of the scene.

Ava Week 4-5

Ava is mastering Tummy time and can lift her head by herself! She is also supporting Daddy's bar Lucky 7 !

Ava LOVES going for walks - we walk all over Jersey City and often we go visit Daddy at work!

Ava Week 2

Ava has had many visitors so far! The early weeks have been amazingly sleepless - but all three of us are getting better at napping, eating, sleeping - and well we've all been pretty good at pooping....

Bringing Ava Home

The Hospital was an incredible learning experience, between becoming instant parents, breastfeeding and simply oogling our new baby girl. But the best part was bringing her home. Thankfully Grandma was there waiting for us!
